About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative at Blithequark, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding telephone assistance to our Medicaid and Medicare members and providers. You will be the primary point of contact for addressing a wide range of inquiries, including eligibility, provider changes, and requests for ID cards. Your goal will be to provide an excellent experience to our callers every time, ensuring that they feel heard, valued, and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming member and provider calls, responding to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs.
- Provide high-quality customer service, ensuring that every caller receives a personalized and empathetic experience.
- Utilize high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable to access our systems and resolve caller inquiries.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless communication.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of caller interactions, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Adhere to performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals, striving for excellence in every interaction.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with members and providers orally and in written form.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to empathize with callers and provide personalized support.
- Self-sufficiency and ability to work from home, with occasional commuting to our office in Linthicum, MD.
- Reliable high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working remotely in a call center setting.
- Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare programs.
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field.
