**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for handling incoming telephone requests from excavators, homeowners, and facility operators. You'll work closely with our clients to gather information about their work sites, enter data into a ticket format, and identify work sites on a mapping system similar to Google Maps. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our clients receive the support they need to complete their projects safely and efficiently.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Answer inbound calls and follow scripted questions from callers who will be digging
* Obtain information about customers and their work sites
* Enter data into a ticket format
* Identify work sites on a mapping system similar to Google Maps
* Provide excellent customer service at all times
* Communicate effectively and create positive relationships with excavators, peers, and management
* Process information quickly and accurately using outlined criteria
* Accurately read digital maps
* Demonstrate an interest in public safety
* Understand and apply new concepts
* Ability to work effectively and independently in a home or office environment
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or GED
* Ability to listen and problem solve effectively
* General computer skills
* Ability to adhere to a work schedule including having good attendance
* Ability to work as a team
* Be self-motivated and able to work independently
* Willingness to work overtime based upon the business needs of the call center
* Availability to work during operating hours of the call center
* Must pass a criminal background check
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous customer service experience
* Experience working in a call center environment
* Familiarity with mapping systems and digital maps
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
