Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in making payments to fully automated revenue control equipment
- Help customers with parking services and facilitate the expedient flow of traffic through the facility
- Lead programs to improve client and customer satisfaction
- Assist in the management of day-to-day activities at the assigned location
- Monitor parkers in pay-in lanes and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide assistance to customers who have forgotten where they parked their vehicle
- Conduct garage and facility audits as required by management
- Count the "bank" of revenue at the beginning of each shift to ensure the starting total is correct
- Make change for customers before transactions and quote rates for parking services
- Give directions to customers to various locations in the city
- Resolve customer complaints independently or with the aid of a supervisor
- Answer telephone calls in a prompt and courteous manner
- Maintain the cleanliness of the facility and pick up trash in the surrounding area
- Present yourself professionally at all times while at work, with a neat appearance and in uniform
- Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and complete any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of experience and education
- Experience with automated parking access control hardware and software, or a high aptitude for technology
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, nights, afternoons, weekends, and holidays
- A valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record
- Mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Language skills, including the ability to read, write, and interpret the English language
- Reasoning ability, including the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but standard written or oral instructions
- Adaptability, including the ability to deal with changes in the work environment and unexpected events
- Judgment, including the ability to exhibit sound and accurate judgment
Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in customer service or a related field
