Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with questions and recommendations, providing exceptional service and ensuring that every customer has a positive experience
- Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register, maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain security of cash and protect blithequark assets, adhering to company policies and procedures
- Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise, ensuring that the store is always fully stocked and visually appealing
- Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards, and maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
- Maintain the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
- Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, associates, and leaders
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
- The ability to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Previous experience working in a retail environment, with a strong understanding of sales transactions and customer service principles
