As a key member of our customer-facing team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our passengers, handling customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. If you're a people person with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences, we encourage you to apply. **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner * Handle customer transactions, including ticket sales, baggage claims, and other related services * Operate a cash register, handle cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons as forms of payment for tickets * Process charges, make change, and balance daily transactions * Manage overage or lack of funds * Inspect baggage and freight, answering phone calls to provide information to guests, page clients, resolve issues or grievances, and assist on a case-by-case basis * Handle exchanges necessary to load the aircraft in a convenient and efficient manner * Manage misused customers due to oversells, delayed or canceled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage * Resolve such issues quickly and within the rules established by the organization * Provide current and accurate information, schedules, reservations, flight arrival/departure information, and answer general questions from customers and other guests at the airport * Complete forms and reports as required by the organization * Write incident and complaint reports as needed * Perform other work duties as directed by Supervisors **Essential Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree * Ability to type or use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet the needs of the job * Ability to understand reports, follow directions, learn and comprehend tagging techniques, rules, and guidelines * Ability to work with others as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful circumstances * Ability to agreeably complete the Customer Service Representative training program with an 80% or higher average and a passing assessment period * Knowledge of hazardous situations and ability to handle crises on a case-by-case basis * Ability to work under close time constraints to achieve quick turns of aircraft * Ability to give a well-groomed appearance in understanding the Ground Tasks Worker Handbook and Work Schedule * Ability to perform all job duties within a limited space * Ability to communicate verbally by phone, in person, and on public address systems effectively * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Ability to communicate information and directions verbally or through radio equipment **Preferred Qualifications:** * Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment * Knowledge of airline operations and procedures * Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues as needed * Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities * High school diploma or equivalent **What We Offer:** * Competitive hourly rate of $26 * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Comprehensive training program to ensure success in the role * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance * Opportunities for advancement and professional growth **Work Environment:** * Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on customer satisfaction * Collaborate with a team of customer service representatives to achieve common goals * Work in a limited space, with frequent interruptions and changing priorities * Ability to work in a variety of settings, including ticket counters, baggage claims, and other areas of the airport **How to Apply:** If you're a motivated and customer-focused individual with a passion for delivering exceptional service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
