About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Service inbound calls while engaging and conversing with entrepreneurs and decision-makers to understand their needs and suggest the right American Express products
- Convey high levels of product and service knowledge to communicate suitable product features, benefits, and other aspects of American Express Services
- Continuously develop key selling skills, including building rapport, understanding customer needs, handling objections, and closing deals
- Provide exceptional customer care by responding to inquiries about accounts in a fast-paced, organized customer care environment
- Document essential account information in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Comply with all regulatory and compliance rules related to servicing and sales practices
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a client-facing environment where you have built customer loyalty through exceptional listening, consultative relationship building, and strong written and verbal communication
- Proven success in a customer care and sales environment (2 years+)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the capability to multitask and navigate in an electronic setting
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; education benefits are available
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Previous experience in a remote or virtual customer service environment
- Knowledge of American Express products and services
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
