Job Summary
As a Chat Moderator at Blithequark, you will be responsible for ensuring that our Discord community remains a welcoming, informative, and safe space for all members. This part-time, remote position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team committed to equality and fair hiring practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and moderate the official Discord server to enforce community guidelines and rules.
- Delete messages that violate server rules, mute or ban users as necessary, and handle repeat offenders.
- Investigate reports from users regarding potential rule violations and take appropriate action.
- Collaborate with the community management team to develop and implement strategies for community engagement and growth.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in community management and moderation.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to community members.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Discord and its moderation tools is a plus.
