Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead causal research studies to answer complex business questions and inform decision-making.
- Present and communicate actionable insights and recommendations to executives, business leaders, and cross-functional partners.
- Serve as a peer reviewer and subject matter expert for causal research designed by other teams.
- Stay up-to-date with advances in causal inference literature and develop new methodologies as needed.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Applied Data, Machine Learning, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience articulating business and product questions and extracting insights from datasets using SQL and statistical tools (e.g., R, SAS, Stata, MATLAB).
- Internship or experience with data evaluation and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
To stand out as a candidate, you'll ideally have:
- Experience with Bayesian hierarchical models, Bayesian Additive Regression Trees (BART), Bayesian Causal Forest (BCF), Gaussian Processes, and Synthetic Control techniques.
- Experience designing and analyzing randomized controlled trials.
- Experience designing and analyzing causal research studies using observational data.
- Experience with statistical data analysis, including linear models, multivariate analysis, stochastic models, and sampling techniques.
