**Job Summary**
As a Bilingual Healthcare Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the rapid, compliant, and patient-centric resolution of balances and the maximization of our Client Partner's financial performance. You'll be responsible for fielding inbound phone calls, managing assigned inventory, and consistently meeting Total Touches per Day targets. Your exceptional communication skills, empathy, and ability to connect with patients, leaders, and staff will make you an invaluable asset to our team.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Fields Inbound Patient Calls: Respond to patient inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service in a professional, patient-centric manner.
* Fields Insurance Carrier, Attorney, and Non-Self Pay related Inbound Calls: Handle calls related to insurance, attorneys, and non-self pay accounts with accuracy and efficiency.
* Manages assigned inventory: Properly and timely cycle Dispositional Segments within arenaflex or the Client's software solution(s) to ensure seamless account management.
* Consistently meets Total Touches per Day targets: Achieve daily targets for both patients and guarantors, as determined by the assigned Segment of A/R and other Client nuances and considerations.
* Accurately sets up Payment Plans with Patients: Establish payment plans with patients per Client guidelines, ensuring timely and compliant resolution.
* Secures Payments and Partial Payments with Patients: Collect payments and partial payments from patients per Client guidelines, maintaining a patient-centric approach.
* Performs Account research and resolution: Conduct timely and results-oriented research and resolution on Self Pay, FAP, and Insurance topics.
* Consistently documents all Patient encounters: Accurately document patient encounters in Hospital's source system and/or arenaflex's workflow solution.
* Performs initial assessments for Financial Assistant Program (s): Conduct initial assessments for Financial Assistant Programs per Client guidelines.
**Assists with translation, interpretation, and customer support**
* Provides translation, interpretation, and customer support to patients, leaders, and staff, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
**Essential Qualifications**
* Patient-Centric Customer Service: Proven experience in delivering exceptional patient experiences, prioritizing empathy, and creating a positive patient-centric approach.
* Empathy: Demonstrated ability to connect with patients, leaders, and staff, understanding their needs, and providing compassionate support.
* Multi-system toggling and organizational efficiency: Proficient in managing multiple systems, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining a high level of organizational efficiency.
* Documentation, written and verbal communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to accurately document patient encounters and communicate effectively with patients, leaders, and staff.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products: Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* HIPAA and related Privacy and Security Acts and Regulations: Compliant with HIPAA and related Privacy and Security Acts and Regulations, ensuring the confidentiality and security of patient information.
* Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect with patients, leaders, and staff, and provide exceptional customer service.
* Team Player: Collaborative and team-oriented, with a passion for working with others to achieve shared goals.

**Preferred Qualifications**
* Fluent in Spanish: Fluency in Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients, leaders, and staff.
* High School Diploma or equivalent: High School Diploma or equivalent, with a focus on healthcare-related courses or experience.

* Competitive hourly rate: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
* Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week
