Key Responsibilities and Job Elements
As an Area Manager at Amazon Fulfillment Center ORD5, you'll be responsible for leading a team of hourly associates and driving results in the following areas:
- Team Leadership: Support, mentor, and motivate your team to achieve exceptional performance and maintain a positive work environment.
- Safety and Quality: Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans that meet business objectives.
- Physical Demands: Lift up to 49 pounds, frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, and stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
