About the Role
We're looking for a skilled 2D Animator to work closely with our animation team to create high-quality 2D animations for game objects, characters, environments, and visual effects (VFX). As an Animator, you'll utilize traditional animation principles to bring our characters and game worlds to life. This is a full-time remote opportunity, offering a competitive salary of $25/hour, with immediate openings available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality 2D animations for game objects, characters, environments, and VFX, adhering to traditional animation principles.
- Collaborate with the animation team to develop optimistic animations that meet project requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices for 2D animations in mobile games.
- Demonstrate reliability, responsibility, and professionalism in all business-related interactions.
- Work independently and as part of a team, handling multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements and Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Animation, Fine Arts, or Computer Graphics).
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role, with a portfolio showcasing your animation skills.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Spine, and After Effects, with experience working with rendering houses.
- Knowledge of Unity, C#, and Maya scripting, including Mel scripts, Python, PyMel, or the Maya API.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with 2D animation software, such as Toon Boom Harmony or OpenToonz.
- Familiarity with game development pipelines and workflows.
- Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, and motion.
