Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Entry Level Data Entry Remote - Work From Home. Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate counseling services to patients regarding the effective use of medications and awareness of drug interactions.
- Offer preventive and clinical healthcare services, including vaccinations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcomes services.
- Ensure the accurate compounding, administration, review, and verification of prescribed medications within regulatory guidelines, company policies, and procedures.
- Support the efficient workflow of the pharmacy and assist the pharmacy manager in identifying ways to enhance pharmacy financials, inventory management, and patient experience.
- Engage patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving patient issues promptly, and responding to inquiries to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Model and provide customer service best practices with all colleagues to deliver a distinctive and delightful experience, including interpersonal skills that demonstrate empathy and arenaflex leadership qualities.
Patient Experience
- Associate with patients by anticipating needs and proactively offering services, supporting efforts to enhance patient experience by increasing awareness of healthcare services presented through arenaflex.
- Participate and assist in events that reflect the unique communities we serve, as directed by the General Manager, Healthcare Supervisor, District Manager, or Pharmacy Manager.
Tasks
- Counsel patients and answer their questions regarding the use of medication, side effects, interactions, contraindications, patient data security, generics, more affordable medications, over-the-counter products, and refer to clinical providers as needed.
- Perform pharmacist tasks, including compounding, medication therapy reviews, verification, and prescription management.
- Review, interpret, and accurately administer prescribed medications when required by responsibility.
- Ensure the pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations, company policies, and standards, assisting the pharmacy manager with establishing procedures that promote the efficient workflow of the pharmacy.
- Maintain current knowledge on information technology related to pharmacy systems, including workflow, prescription fulfillment, billing, clinical documentation, training, inventory management, and retail location registers.
People and Performance Management
- Assist the Pharmacy Manager with staff hiring and training, establishing the process of Pharmacy Manager in staff performance by coaching, providing constructive feedback, monitoring customer service, and encouraging colleague development.
- Promote teamwork and motivate colleagues by setting expectations, monitoring and recognizing progress, and encouraging a shared vision.
Training and Self-Awareness
- Maintain current knowledge and required licensing/credentialing/certification as established by government and state regulations to offer such clinical services.
- Acquire critical certifications, education credits, and training, including learning modules, as required by the Organization.
- Seek professional development by observing one's performance, requesting valuable feedback, and utilizing pharmacy manager and supervisor as mentor and coach.
Essential Qualifications
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the region.
- Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate strong knowledge of relevant state and federal controlled substance regulations.
- Certified Immunizer or able to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
