The Opportunity
As an Entry Level Bookkeeper with Moose Creek Bookkeeping, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our clients. This is a part-time position, estimated to be 20-25 hours per week, with the potential to increase. You will work closely with our owners and account managers to provide bookkeeping support and services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with bookkeeping duties across multiple clients using QuickBooks Online
- Create video processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the team
- Participate in bookkeeping cleanups and catch-ups
- Work accurately under pressure, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and the ability to follow through on tasks
- Collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Multitask and reevaluate priorities throughout the day
- Handle stressful situations with ease as they arise
- Participate in month-end quality control (training provided)
- Attend weekly team meetings via Zoom every Monday at 1:30 PM PST
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience working in QuickBooks Online accounts
- QuickBooks Online Certification required
- Stable, fast, and secure internet connection to support Zoom meetings
- Computer and second monitor to streamline virtual work (unless your state is exempt)
- Quiet workspace for work hours and team meetings
- Team player with eagerness to learn
- Ability to troubleshoot concerns and solve problems
- Excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills
- Living within the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Asana, Google Suite, Excel, Gusto, Slack, Notion, ADP, JobTread, BuilderTrend, and House Call Pro
