POSITION OVERVIEW
EJT Education Group is hiring a CRM Marketing & Automation Specialist. The CRM Marketing & Automation Specialist is responsible for the hands-on execution of marketing campaigns and lead management workflows inside the company’s CRM platform (GoHighLevel). This role ensures that marketing strategy is translated into high-performing technical builds that support top-of-funnel lead generation, nurture sequences, and the sales pipeline.
This is a primarily tactical role with a strong focus on marketing automation, campaign deployment, CRM pipeline management, and performance tracking. The ideal candidate is both detail-oriented and systems-minded, with the ability to recommend the most effective technical approach to bring marketing funnels to life.
Key Responsibilities
CRM & Marketing Automation Execution
• Build, launch, and maintain funnels, workflows, and automation inside GoHighLevel
• Configure forms, landing pages, triggers, campaigns, and pipeline stages
• Implement email and SMS campaigns using provided strategy, messaging, and assets
• Set up lead routing, tagging, segmentation, and scoring to support marketing and sales efforts
• Ensure all automations are tested, QA’d, and deployed accurately
Campaign & Lead Management
• Manage the CRM components of top-of-funnel marketing campaigns
• Connect lead sources (ads, landing pages, website, and integrations) into the CRM
• Monitor and optimize lead flow from capture through handoff to sales
• Maintain and improve nurture sequences to increase conversion rates
• Support the execution of product launches and promotional campaigns
Sales Pipeline & Process Support
• Build and maintain pipelines that reflect the company’s sales process
• Automate task assignments, follow-ups, and internal notifications
• Ensure accurate tracking of opportunities, customer journeys, and conversion points
Data, Reporting & Optimization
• Track and report on campaign performance (opens, clicks, conversions, lead movement)
• Maintain CRM data hygiene and list health
• Identify workflow issues and performance gaps and recommend improvements
• Create and maintain simple dashboards and reporting views
Technical Strategy (Light – 10–15%)
• Recommend the most effective and scalable way to build funnels and automations
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through better system configuration
• Research and test new automation features and integrations
Job Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience building and managing CRM or marketing automation systems
• Demonstrated experience with GoHighLevel (required)
• Experience executing email and/or SMS marketing campaigns within a CRM
• Strong understanding of:
• Automation workflows and triggers
• Pipeline management
• Lead lifecycle and segmentation
• Ability to translate marketing plans into technical builds
• Strong QA and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent organizational and project management ability
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative remote environment
• Experience supporting lead generation and product launch campaigns
• Familiarity with marketing analytics and conversion tracking
• Experience integrating third-party tools via native integrations, Zapier, or webhooks

• Our marketing campaigns are deployed accurately and on schedule.
• Our lead flow through the CRM is seamless and measurable.
• Our sales pipeline automation reduces manual work and increases follow-up consistency.
• Our nurture sequences are functioning and improving conversion rates.
• Our CRM data is clean, organized, and actionable.

COMPENSATION & DETAILS
This position is a Full time, W-2 employee. The salary range for the position is $65-80K depending on experience.
● You’ll work remote primarily and have complete location independence within the United States; prefer those in CST or EST time zones
● Must be willing and able to attend 2-3 in person meetings annually
● You will need to be available during Monday-Friday 9-5 pm EST
● Must have own computer and reliable access to Wi-Fi, internet, headset, and phone.
