Clinical Specialist - Virgina & West Virginia

Sonova Group is a leading company in the audiology field, and they are seeking a Clinical Specialist for Virginia and West Virginia. The role involves creating and executing strategic business plans to meet sales quotas, managing relationships with cochlear implanting centers, and providing clinical support during surgeries and patient fittings. Responsibilities - Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan to consistently achieve and exceed annual sales quota - Build, support, and expand relationships with strategic cochlear implanting centers - Identify and capture new business opportunities through strategic sales planning and market analysis - Use sales planning and reporting system as directed, to include but not limited: SFDC, pre-call planning, territory business plans, account business plans, customer business reviews, post-call and weekly reviews with line manager - Manage time appropriately to ensure maximum coverage within territory with a focus on adequate time spent on proactive sales activities to achieve optimal level of exposure and results - Provide on-site clinical support in and during surgery - Provide on-site clinical support for patient fitting and device programming at cochlear implant centers - Provide support on other clinical issues involving cochlear implants, such as candidacy criteria, assessment procedures, difficult case management including integrity testing, and clinical studies, seeking input from appropriate personnel at home office or other field teams to accomplish these activities Skills - Master's or Au.D. degree in Audiology (or related field) - Minimum of 1 year of clinical audiology experience with both adult and pediatric cochlear implant patients - Familiarity with behavioral and objective measures for implant candidacy and outcomes; awareness of competitive technology - Ability and willingness to present publicly - Proficiency with Microsoft Office/engineering software - Must pass the Advanced Bionics competency exam with a score = 90% - A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova - Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) or ABA certification - Comfort learning and applying sales techniques to support growth at implant centers - Experience with electrophysiological testing (e.g., ESRT/Neural Response) and fitting or troubleshooting external equipment and software Benefits - Medical, dental and vision coverage* - Health Savings, Health Reimbursement, Flexible Spending/Dependent Care Accounts - TeleHealth options - 401k plan with company match* - Company paid life/ad&d insurance - Additional supplemental life/ad&d coverage available - Company paid Short/Long-Term Disability coverage (STD/LTD) - STD LTD Buy-ups available - Accident/Hospital Indemnity coverage - Legal/ID Theft Assistance - PTO (or sick and vacation time), floating Diversity Day, & paid holidays* - Paid parental bonding leave - Employee Assistance Program (24/7 mental health support hotline, 5 company paid counseling sessions and more) - Robust Internal Career Growth opportunities - Tuition reimbursement - Hearing aid discount for employees and family - Internal social recognition platform - Plan rules/offerings dependent upon group Company/location.
