• **Title:** Chemistry Experts (Remote) • **Engagement:** Hourly contract (independent contractor) • **Rate:** USD 73.29/hour • **Location:** Remote – candidates based in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Europe, Singapore, Dubai, or Australia who are legally able to work as independent contractors in their jurisdiction. • *Job Summary** We are seeking highly qualified chemistry professionals to support the evaluation and improvement of advanced AI systems. In this remote, contract-based role, you will apply deep chemical expertise to assess and enhance how AI models reason about, explain, and communicate chemical concepts across a wide range of theoretical and applied topics. • *Key Responsibilities** • Review and evaluate AI-generated responses to chemistry-related questions for scientific accuracy, mechanistic correctness, and quantitative reasoning. • Create and refine prompts that guide AI behavior in chemistry contexts. • Verify chemical claims using domain expertise and authoritative public references. • Identify strengths, gaps, and errors in model outputs and provide structured, written feedback. • Assess clarity, organization, and suitability of explanations for different audiences. • Apply defined evaluation standards, benchmarks, and guidelines consistently across all tasks. • *Required Qualifications** • Doctoral degree in chemistry or a closely related field. • Expertise in one or more areas such as organic, inorganic, physical, analytical, materials, or biological chemistry. • Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain complex chemical concepts clearly. • Experience reviewing, editing, or evaluating technical or academic content. • High attention to detail and scientific rigor. • Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment. • Legally authorized to perform contract work from your location. • *Preferred Qualifications** • Experience with AI model evaluation, data annotation, or human-in-the-loop workflows. • Experience teaching, mentoring, or communicating scientific topics to non-expert audiences. • Familiarity with structured evaluation frameworks, benchmarks, or quality rubrics. • *Contract & Work Details** • Engagement is on an independent contractor basis. • This is a fully remote role with flexible scheduling. • Work volume and project duration may vary based on business needs and performance. • Payments are issued weekly through supported payment platforms based on approved work completed. • *Equal Opportunity Statement** • We consider all qualified applicants without regard to legally protected characteristics and provide reasonable accommodations upon request.
