What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer incoming calls from patients, referral sources, and insurance companies
- Obtain and process patient demographic and insurance information for appointments
- Maintain third-party referral information and coordinate with clinical units
- Assist patients with portal access and resolve related issues
- Review medical charts to determine scheduling needs and maintain confidentiality
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of one year of experience in a call center, medical practice, or insurance organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records and third-party referral processes
- Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheets
- Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities effectively
