Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Cabinet Installer for our client located in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities of a Cabinet Installer:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Installs cabinetry/millwork in accordance with established standards and procedures; maintain safety and professionalism at all times
- Completely and accurately tests installed cabinetry/millwork, ensuring it is in proper working order prior to departure from installation site
- Maintains control of all assigned company property and ensures that equipment is maintained in safe operating condition at all times
- Safely operates assigned company vehicle
- Thoroughly clean work areas of assigned jobs at the end of each project and/or day
- Load/Unload finished products and raw materials/tools from company or third-party vehicles at job sites and help to stage items for installation
Qualifications of a Lead Cabinet Installer:
- Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to install commercial cabinetry/millwork
- The ability to read and interpret site/architecture/engineering schematics and the ability to read a tape measure
- Extensive knowledge of and the ability to efficiently and safely utilize finish carpentry tools, materials and techniques
- Basic math skills
- Ability to perform the physical labor necessary
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record to be insured on company vehicles
- The ability/willingness to spend extended hours working on a customers’ job
- The ability/willingness when required to work the weekend
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
