Job Description:
• Leads cross-functional discovery for complex initiatives involving multiple business units and systems (e.g., multi-state product rollouts, major rating changes, new distribution or servicing capabilities).
• Clarifies business goals/needs and desired outcomes before solutioning, ensuring alignment to FWCI’s strategic goals and value map.
• Models end-to-end processes and value streams, identifying friction, handoff issues, and controls; recommend future-state designs.
• Defines detailed business rules, data requirements, and non-functional expectations (performance, controls, regulatory/compliance needs).
• Partners with Product Owners or business leads and project leaders to shape scope, MVP definitions, and phased delivery plans.
• Leads UAT strategy for complex releases, including risk-based testing, integration scenarios, and coordination across multiple teams.
• Serves as a key liaison between Business and Technology, ensuring “checks and balances” while maintaining true ownership of business requirements.
• Drives decision-making with structured options. Mentors BA I and BA II team members; reviews artifacts, shares best practices, and helps uplift team capabilities.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–7+ years of business analysis experience in P&C Insurance (or equivalent), with significant exposure to complex projects and cross-system processes.
• Experience working in Agile and hybrid environments (sprints, releases, and Stage-Gate milestones).
• Strong analytical skills, including comfort with data, metrics, and KPIs to inform decisions and measure outcomes.
