About the position The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is offering a Summer Employment Program for hard-working individuals seeking temporary positions from early April through October. Conduct manual labor in construction and maintenance projects as a Semi-Skilled Laborer. , ? Operate transportation equipment and perform duties such as traffic control and equipment repair as a CDL Operator. Requirements ? Previous custodial and janitorial experience preferred for Custodial Worker positions. , ? Ability to lift and move heavy objects of reasonable weight for all positions. , ? One year of experience in laboring work for Semi-Skilled Laborer positions. , ? Successful completion of the Transportation Equipment Operator Trainee Program or equivalent for CDL Operator positions. Nice-to-haves ? Experience operating trucks/equipment used for highway and bridge maintenance and construction. , ? Vocational training in building and construction work, maintenance, or custodial work. Benefits ?
