Description:
• Create actionable insights across key business units using advanced analytics, AI models, and data storytelling.
• Design, build, and maintain intuitive dashboards and analytic tools using BI platforms like Looker, Tableau, or similar.
• Automate data workflows with Python, SQL, DBT, and AI-assisted data pipelines to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Analyze complex business problems, identify root causes, and develop scalable technical solutions.
• Leverage statistical modeling and machine learning for forecasting, segmentation, and anomaly detection.
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across all reporting and analytic processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities where AI-driven insights can improve decision-making.
• Experiment with AI/ML tools to enhance analytics capabilities (e.g., predictive demand forecasting, automated insights, natural language queries).
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in BI, analytics, consulting, or data-driven strategy roles.
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases; experience with DBT preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets.
• Experience with BI tools (Looker/LookML, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
• Proven ability to present technical and business-level findings to diverse audiences.
• Working knowledge of statistical methods, and familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.
• Experience with AI-assisted analytics or automation tools (e.g., OpenAI, Vertex AI, DataRobot) is a strong plus.
• Analytical & creative – You’re equally comfortable running regressions and brainstorming innovative uses of AI.
• Communicative – Skilled at translating complex data into compelling narratives for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive & resourceful – You spot problems early and use unconventional thinking to solve them.
• Organized & adaptable – You thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with shifting priorities.
• Collaborative – You value teamwork and know how to bring people along on a data-driven journey.
• Nice to Have: Experience with Google Apps Script, VBA, or other automation tools.
• Nice to Have: Exposure to NLP, recommendation systems, or other applied AI techniques.
• Nice to Have: Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
