Summary

WaterEquity is seeking an Associate on the Risk and Portfolio Management Team to provide portfolio monitoring and analytical support. The role will work closely with the global investment team to manage and analyze financial, operational, and impact data for WaterEquity’s investments. These investments consist of lending to financial institutions that on-lend to households and enterprises for water and sanitation. WaterEquity also recently launched a new investment strategy focused on equity investments in water and sanitation projects and companies. The Associate would support across both strategies, with a primary focus on the financial institution lending portfolio. The Associate, Risk and Portfolio Management will report to the Principal, Risk and Portfolio Management.  

The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of strong experience in financial analysis, risk, portfolio management, and/or investment management and is eager for opportunities to learn and grow. The role is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional with a passion for impact investing, an eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and who is comfortable with change. The ideal candidate thrives in a start-up culture, excels at independent work and communication, and is able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Compensation and Benefits

U.S.-Based Employee: This position offers a base salary range of $65,000-$75,000 USD. Total compensation will be commensurate with education and experience, and structured to reflect a competitive package, to include benefits, for a full-time team member.  

Non-U.S. Based Team Member: This position will be employed by an international employer of record and assigned full-time to WaterEquity. All country-specific statutory requirements (e.g., leave entitlements) will apply. This position offers a base salary range of $65,000-$75,000 (or the equivalent in local currency). Compensation will be commensurate with education and experience and structured to reflect a competitive package, to include benefits. for a full-time team member.  

No relocation benefits, work permit reimbursement, or visa sponsorship will be offered.
