Artist Needed – Full-Page Painterly Illustrations for TTRPG Character Classes (Ancient Egypt–Inspired)
Budget: Open (please include rate per illustration)
Timeline: Rolling delivery, final deadline January 14
Project Type: Illustration (Painterly / Concept Art)
Format: Full-page, print-ready (8.5 x 11 / A4)
About the Project
Orthane Productions is producing a premium tabletop RPG setting inspired by ancient Egypt and high fantasy. We are seeking an experienced illustrator to create 11 full-page character class illustrations for an upcoming book.
The visual style should be painterly, dynamic, and cinematic, consistent with modern D&D sourcebooks (PHB, TCoE, etc.), while grounded in ancient Egyptian aesthetics. These are action scenes, not static portraits.
We will provide:
• Visual style references from our existing books
• Class concepts and lore (in progress, nearing completion)
• Guidance on composition and thematic elements
• Hieroglyphic elements to be incorporated into each illustration
Scope of Work
• 11 full-page illustrations (8.5 x 11 / A4)
• Each image depicts a different character class in action
• Final delivery must be high-resolution and print-ready
• Delivery can be rolling (you do not need to wait until all 11 are complete)
