• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or accounting roles.
Job Responsibilities
• Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process invoices for payment, ensuring all required documentation is attached.
• Data Entry and Reconciliation: Perform accurate data entry into the accounting system and reconcile discrepancies in vendor statements.
• Payment Management: Execute payment runs through checks, ACH, and wire transfers, adhering to payment schedules.
• Vendor Communication: Maintain relationships with vendors, resolving any payment issues or discrepancies efficiently.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports related to accounts payable and assist in the month-end closing process.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
• Support Teams: Collaborate with finance teams to improve processes and participate in audits as required.
• Record Maintenance: Keep accurate records of all transactions for audit purposes, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
