Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and management of chronic health conditions. ? Conduct health screenings and maintain comprehensive health records for all students. ? Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with special health needs. ? Monitor and manage communicable diseases within the school, following guidelines from the local health department. ? Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics such as wellness, hygiene, and disease prevention. ? Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support students? health and academic needs. ? Participate in emergency response planning and provide first aid and emergency care as required. ? Ensure compliance with state and federal health regulations, including privacy and confidentiality laws. Requirements: ? Must meet all Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) requirements for Registered Nurses. ? Valid Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license. ? Current CPR and First Aid certification. ? Experience in pediatric or school nursing is preferred. ? Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to handle a variety of health issues. ?
