VILLAGE OF SKOKIE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES ... Notice of Accepting Applications for: TEMPORARY SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT (3 Positions) Public Works Dept. (Forestry / Refuse / Streets & Alley / Water & Sewer) Limited to 1,000 working hours in the 12-month period immediately following date of employment. Hourly Pay $20.89 - $23.03, depending on qualifications Range: Brief Assist with solid waste collection using hydraulically controlled Description tippers; pavement maintenance & repair; landscaping maintenance of Duties: & litter control; dead animal pick-up; tree removal and maintenance; water and sewer repairs, stormwater maintenance, and other work- related duties, as assigned. Hours are Monday ? Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Must have flexibility to work 2 ? 5 days per week, not to exceed 1,000 working hours in the 12-month period immediately following date of employment. This position is not eligible for any benefits. Required Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have a H.S. diploma Education, or equivalent. Valid Driver?s License required, CDL Class B License Experience, desirable, but not required. You must be in good physical condition and Training: & be able to work in all outdoor weather conditions. This position requires a physical examination and drug screening prior to employment.
