We are hiring multiple substitute paraprofessionals to join our district in Los Angeles, CA! Our paras will be assisting our special education classrooms in 1:1 and classroom support based roles. Location: Los Angeles, CA Duration: ASAP - June 2025 Per Diem: Flexible schedule as needed Caseload: Assisting K-12 students in significant support needs programs Job Duties ? Provide daily classroom assistance to students with special needs, supporting their academic, social, and behavioral development. ? Collaborate with the classroom teacher to deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt materials to meet the needs of each student. ? Assist students with daily care including toileting and diapering as needed. ? Communicate effectively with support staff and lead teacher ? Assess student needs and provide interventions to redirect behavior. ? Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student growth and independence. Requirements: ? High School Diploma or Equivalent ? Associate's Degree or 48 completed college credits ? Experience working with special education students preferred ? Must have reliable transportation Benefits: ?
