Skills And Competencies We recruit highly dedicated and professional WI SLPs to join our team! Virtual experience is a must along with: ??Caseload management ??Collaboration with all school-based team members ??Medicaid billing/IEP paperwork and meetings, progress reports ??Virtual therapy on any platform you choose ??Virtual assessments and evaluations/reevaluations ??And of course your own expertise with a variety of clinical experiences and unique skill set! Required Qualifications State licenses: Wisconsin (need state license and DPI license) CCCs required: Yes Other Required Qualifications ??must have WI DPI license Financial Employment 1099 Compensation Hourly Pay Rate $67??75/hr Informed Pay $63??70/hr info Median Pay and Range $65??75/hour 1099 position Full Pay Rate for All Hours Worked? Yes, all hours are paid the same including any cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, all inclement weather days, school cancellations, and any tech issues on the school side. Client Availability and Impact on Pay Each SLP will follow the school district approved calendar for when they provide direct therapy time. Flexible scheduling is allowed for all indirect hours and also part-time SLPs. Pay Rate Determiners Higher rates paid for very experienced Wisconsin SLPs with excellent virtual experience. Benefits None for a 1099 position. Stipends (taxed) None for a 1099 position. Reimbursements (untaxed) All team members will have access to digital assessments on Q-global. Quality Schedule There is plenty of room for so much flexibility as a virtual provider! Hours are documented by the provider. Additional Work Hours The SLP will be required to attend IEP meetings whenever the IEP team members schedule them. All hours are paid for including all IEP meetings. PTO PTO is not an option as this is a 1099 position, however there is a lot of flexibility with a virtual role to shift indirect hours to whenever it works for the SLP and to schedule time off as needed. In addition, providers are not expected to attend professional development days with the school sites and can utilize that time however they choose (personal time or indirect time). Holidays The SLP follows the school district calendar for days off. Productivity Requirements info No. Caseload Cap Yes! I work with each school district to determine an appropriate amount of students for the contract hours requested. Typically caseload caps are 40 for a full-time elementary caseload with no initial assessments. Caseloads can go up to 45 for middle/high school if appropriate for the number of service minutes for that level. There is a lot of negotiation and collaboration ahead of time that happens with each school to make sure the workload is appropriate for the hours of the SLP. In addition, if for any reason the number of students is beyond a providers' ability to fulfill at any time, I will work with each school to determine what additional support they may need or other options they may take to keep the workload appropriate (3:1 model, help with caseload management, etc.). I will continuously advocate for manageable workloads throughout the school year to provide an excellent work-life balance.
