Key Responsibilities ? Case Management: Effectively organize and maintain case files, monitor critical deadlines, document progress, and ensure up-to-date information within our case management system. ? Strategic Execution: Work in close collaboration with senior attorneys, paralegals, and clients to develop and implement effective case strategies. ? Client Communication: Maintain regular and proactive communication with clients regarding the status of their cases, ensuring they are well-informed throughout the process. ? Cost Management: Oversee and verify outstanding balances with clients while managing case-related expenses efficiently. ? Trial Preparation: Provide crucial support during trial proceedings by organizing evidence, preparing exhibits, scheduling witnesses, and ensuring their preparedness. ? Networking: Engage in business development and networking initiatives to cultivate professional relationships and promote the firm. Required Skills ? Juris Doctor (J.D.) is required; certification as a Family Law Specialist is considered a valuable asset. ? A demonstrated passion for family law and the capability to manage cases from inception to conclusion. ? Proficient in billing a minimum of 140 hours per month. Qualifications ? 1-5 years of relevant experience is preferred; prior clerking experience for a Family Law Judge is a significant advantage.
