Interim Senior Accountant | Healthcare | Remote | Contract to Hire

Our Vaco team is partnering with a healthcare client on an interim contract to hire Senior Accountant (HEALTHCARE REQUIRED). This group in particular is looking for someone with physician or hospital healthcare experience (i.e. dental, urgent care, hospital, ASC, surgery center, etc.). Joint venture experience is also a plus. Candidates without physician accounting experience will not be considered. This is contract to hire opportunity, with FTE salary expectations of $80-85K. This Senior Accounting consultant will support across month-end close for healthcare facilities, with a heavy emphasis on contract management and analysis. Candidates that meet these minimum qualifications will be considered: • Must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or similar • Must bring 2+ years of full-cycle accounting experience in a multi-site, acute care, or physician based healthcare organization • Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience • Experience with payroll accounting, intercompany entries, and cash in addition to traditional GL accounting background • Willing to work over-time during month-end close • Available to start by 12/15 Our consultants have access to our benefits and 401K options, as well as our extensive network of resources, including professional development, holiday and bonus opportunities, and more. • This is an interim/contract position, yielding 40 hours/week, with expected overtime up to 2 weeks a month.
