Luxury Metal Accessories — Industrial Design & Production-Ready Files Project Overview We are creating a luxury accessories brand. Our first product line includes metal accessories / spoon-pendants / bump-straw-pendants The goal is to design the product from scratch, prepare production-ready files, and deliver a complete manufacturer package suitable for factories on Alibaba. This is a premium / luxury segment project — attention to detail, materials, and finish is critical. ⸻ Scope of Work You will be responsible for industrial design + production preparation. We will need 3 exclusive pieces of Straws and 3 exclusive pieces of spoons 1️⃣ Product Design • Create original product design (not copying existing products) • Focus on: • premium proportions • clean geometry • luxury feel (minimal, refined, timeless) • Design must be suitable for mass production 2️⃣ 3D Modeling & CAD Deliverables: • 3D CAD files (one of): • STEP (.step / .stp) • IGES (.igs) • High-resolution renders for presentation (optional but preferred) 3️⃣ Manufacturing Drawings • 2D technical drawings (PDF / DWG): • dimensions • tolerances • wall thickness • surface finish notes • material callouts 4️⃣ Materials & Finish Specification Provide clear recommendations for: • Metals (example: stainless steel 304 / 316L, brass) • Finishes: • mirror polish • satin / brushed • PVD coating (gold, rainbow, black) • Coating thickness & durability notes 5️⃣ DFM (Design for Manufacturing) • Design optimized for: • CNC machining / casting • polishing • coating • Avoid unnecessary complexity • Clearly explain: • assembly (if any) • critical tolerance areas 6️⃣ Factory-Ready Package (VERY IMPORTANT) Final delivery must include a single, clear package that can be sent directly to a factory: • CAD files • Technical drawings • BOM (Bill of Materials) • Manufacturing notes • Surface finish specs • Quality control checkpoints ⸻ What We Will Provide • Example of product ⸻ What We Expect From You • Experience with metal products • Experience preparing files for Chinese factories • Understanding of luxury product standards • Clear communication in English • Ability to iterate and refine design ⸻ Nice to Have (Bonus) • Experience with jewelry or premium accessories • Knowledge of PVD coatings • Previous Alibaba factory collaboration • Packaging design experience ⸻ Deliverables Summary ✅ Original product design ✅ CAD (STEP / IGES) ✅ 2D manufacturing drawings ✅ Material & finish specs ✅ DFM notes ✅ Factory-ready production package ⸻ Budget & Timeline • Budget: TBD (open to proposals) • Timeline: • Concept: 5-7 days • CAD & drawings: 5–10 days • Final package: 2–3 days Here is example of products Apply tot his job
