Job Title: MarkLogic Consultant Location: Remote Type: Contract Duration: Long Term Job Description: We are looking for an experienced MarkLogic Consultant to design, develop, and support enterprise applications built on the MarkLogic platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with MarkLogic database development, XQuery, XML/JSON data modeling, and REST-based integrations. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop applications using MarkLogic Server as a NoSQL document database. • Build and optimize XQuery, XPath, and REST APIs. • Perform data ingestion, transformation, and indexing of XML, JSON, and unstructured data. • Design and implement content models, metadata models, and search features. • Develop and maintain data pipelines and integrations with external systems. • Implement security, role-based access control (RBAC), and permissions in MarkLogic. • Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize queries and indexes. • Work closely with business analysts, architects, and application teams. • Provide production support, enhancements, and documentation.
