The ideal candidate will have prior experience in litigation or economic consulting. The work will involve both execution and oversight of engagement work streams that may be either quantitative or qualitative in nature, with responsibilities to include design of economic, statistical, and financial analysis, modeling of financial data and markets, management of existing client relationships, development and presentation of client deliverables, management of junior staff, quality control, industry research, and expansion of business. What qualifications are we looking for in this person: • MBA or Master's in Economics, Finance or a related field; Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. candidate in Finance or related subjects would be beneficial; • Experience in application of econometric modeling techniques; • Experience in Financial Economics, Securities, and/or Capital Markets; • Keen interest and prior experience in economic, statistical, and financial analysis and research; • Strong record of technical expertise in consultant, or or financial and/or banking environment; • Proven capability with MS Excel and analytical software/relational database programs: SAS Stata, MS SQL Server, R, MS Access, SPSS. A desire to expand on those capabilities helpful; and • Excellent communication, managerial and analytical skills as well as leadership skills, along with a desire to work within a collaborative environment.
