Job Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Production Engineer to join our team as a Quality Assurance and Control Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including our global team, to develop and implement quality control processes and procedures that drive continuous improvement and excellence. As a Senior Production Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work remotely from home and enjoy a competitive hourly rate of $26 per hour. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control processes and procedures that drive continuous improvement and excellence Conduct on-site audits and assessments to ensure that manufacturing processes and products meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements Identify and mitigate potential quality risks and issues, and develop corrective action plans to address them Analyze data and conduct statistical analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize quality control processes Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including suppliers and manufacturers, to ensure that quality standards are met Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing teams to drive continuous improvement and excellence Develop and implement training programs to ensure that team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or 3+ years of experience in consumer products Strong foundation in consumer product manufacturing, quality, and technical/engineering perspective Knowledge of quality tools, including RCA/Fishbone/Lean/Six Sigma/Industrial Engineering Experience with line setup and start-up Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across functional areas and teams Fluent in English and local language Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office applications, with experience in data analysis and statistical analysis Ability to travel up to 80% of the time Preferred Qualifications Lean Six Sigma certification, ISO 9001 Lead Inspector, or Certified Quality Engineer Experience with production quality oversight Experience in retail buying operations or support (Purchasing, Acquisition, QA, Development, etc.) Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Target, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
