Job Overview and Responsibilities As a Personal Trainer Fitness Professional at Healthtrax, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their fitness objectives. Your primary responsibilities will include: Developing and realizing your personal business plan in collaboration with our Fitness Director Conducting Healthy Start appointments with new members and ensuring that health history requirements are satisfied Creating and managing a system to call and confirm client appointments one day in advance Conducting fitness assessments and evaluating client results using InBody 570 analysis equipment Designing personalized exercise programs for clients with obtainable progression goals Managing client files, schedules, reminders, and documenting exercise progress in Club Ready software Identifying special population needs and respecting client confidentiality Actively participating in weekly team meetings and best practice sharing to foster improved client and employee experience Ensuring that the fitness floor and equipment are safe, clean, and well-maintained Participating in marketing strategies to increase personal training services, attraction, and retention Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications and skills: Valid professional certifications from nationally recognized organizations such as NSCA, ACSM, NASM, ACE, and CPR/AED Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study (preferred) Excellent verbal and written communication, time management, and follow-up skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Club Ready software (preferred) Proven track record of obtaining and retaining clientele, with at least 3 years of experience as a trainer Patient, positive, and people-oriented with the ability to promote yourself and your services to members Strong desire for learning, research, and continual growth for professional development Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable: Experience working in a remote or virtual environment Familiarity with online training platforms and software Knowledge of marketing strategies and techniques to promote personal training services Experience working with diverse client populations, including special needs groups Certifications in specialized areas such as nutrition, mindfulness, or stress management Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Healthtrax, we are committed to supporting the career growth and development of our team members.
