Job Summary We are looking for a full-time Remote Call Center Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing information and assistance to Maryland residents seeking health insurance coverage. You will work in a remote call center environment, receiving a high volume of calls and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced customer service professional to join our team and make a real difference in people's lives. Key Responsibilities Answer inbound phone calls to provide information and assistance regarding health care insurance options to Maryland residents. Update customer and account information as needed, and maintain accurate records of customer interactions. Utilize multiple database applications as resources to provide the best solution to customers seeking assistance. Be open to feedback for continuous improvement and growth, and strive to meet performance metrics for continued professional growth opportunities. Respond to general customer inquiries, and provide solutions to customer problems in a timely and efficient manner. Collaborate with colleagues and management to achieve team goals and objectives. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and skills: High school diploma or equivalent required; college attendance/degree preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues. Minimum 1 year of call center experience, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service. Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience, with knowledge of health insurance policy and terminology. Computer proficiency, with experience using multiple computer applications and database systems. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and interact well with customers and colleagues. Ability to problem-solve, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must be flexible, reliable, and available for occasional overtime as needed. Must be able to pass required skill and knowledge assessment tests. What We Offer At Blithequark, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: Competitive hourly rate of $16.63 per hour. Dental, health, and vision insurance. Opportunity to work from home and enjoy a flexible work environment. Full-time 40-hour workweek, with Monday-Friday hours from 8am to 6pm. 3 weeks of training and 4 weeks of supervised call taking (nesting) to ensure your success in the role. Referral bonus: refer a friend and receive $50 after they work 90 days.
