You will be responsible for resolving complex technical issues, maintaining effective communication with internal and external channels, and collaborating with our team to ensure seamless support experiences. **Responsibilities:** As a Customer Support Specialist at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: * Providing technical support for customers via phone, ticket system, or messenger, with a focus on advanced Linux and AWS server management issues * Utilizing critical thinking skills to identify and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner * Maintaining effective communication with internal and external channels, including customers, colleagues, and stakeholders * Providing short-term resolutions and developing preventative measures for longer-term issues * Monitoring server alerts for performance issues and addressing them promptly * Collaborating with the team to create internal documentation and customer-facing knowledge base * Assisting in onboarding, training, and mentoring new team members * Staying up-to-date with relevant technologies and industry trends **Qualifications:** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: * 1+ years of experience in customer service/technical support via phone or ticketing system * Experience as a System Administrator or End User of a Linux Operating System, with a strong understanding of: + Ubuntu, CentOS, CloudLinux + Fundamentals: DNS, Networking, IP routing + Database: MySQL + Control Panel: cPanel, AWS * Managed Services Provider (MSP) experience is required * Experience with troubleshooting in multi-user environments * Hands-on experience working with AWS (EC2, CloudWatch, AutoScaling, etc.) * General understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, E-Mail) * Demonstration of independent thinking and decision-making abilities * Ability to multitask, adapt to changes quickly, and prioritize work * Excellent communication, availability, and interpersonal skills * Strong troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced environment * Open to 24/7 support environment * Availability to possibly work weekends **Skills and Competencies:** To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Strong technical knowledge of Linux, AWS, and MSP concepts * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills * Ability to multitask and prioritize work * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines * Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional support experiences **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
