Job Overview: Elementary School Tutor - Part-Time As an Elementary School Tutor with our organization, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students. You'll work with a dynamic team to provide personalized learning experiences, adapt to different learning styles, and inspire students to excel beyond expectations. We're looking for a candidate with a solid understanding of education principles, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to transforming students' lives. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality, one-on-one tutoring sessions to elementary school students in various subjects Teach executive, organizational, and study skills to students to enhance their academic performance Submit session reports to our office and families within 24 hours of each tutoring session Service existing clients' concerns, questions, and requests in a professional and timely manner Create and utilize lesson plans to cater to different learning styles and needs Maintain accurate records and perform basic data entry tasks using our database Essential Qualifications 2+ years of experience in the education field, preferably in tutoring or teaching Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including those with dysgraphia, discalculia, and dyslexia (a plus but not required) Strong understanding of education principles and practices Ability to adapt to different learning styles and create personalized learning plans Reliable transportation with current car insurance (required for in-home tutoring) Access to a computer, internet, and a smartphone Strong administration, typing, and recording skills Preferred Qualifications Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees in education or a related field Experience with database management and data entry Strong knowledge of specialized education fields, such as special education or learning disabilities Skills and Competencies To succeed as an Elementary School Tutor with our organization, you'll need: A passion for teaching and learning Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Flexibility and adaptability in responding to different learning needs A commitment to ongoing professional development and growth Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Green Wing Inc/Tutoring Wisconsin, we're dedicated to supporting the growth and development of our tutors.
