We offer a dynamic and inclusive work environment that fosters collaboration, creativity, and growth. **Key Responsibilities** As our Director of Data Science – Global Data Strategy Lead, you will be responsible for: * Leading the strategic evaluation of blithequark credit metrics, credit provision, and reserve for Senior Management in Risk and Finance * Owning precise information assets/packages within Risk Finance, and becoming a subject matter expert of the applicable tools (troubleshooting issues, reconciling results, identifying enhancements and automation possibilities, and teaching other customers to drive adoption) * Developing and maintaining preferred and ad-hoc reports used by Risk Finance and/or business partners; providing credit-associated analytical support * Developing and presenting key analyses and recommendations to Senior Management * Building and maintaining relationships across Risk Finance portfolio groups and with partners in Risk, Controllership, Tech, etc. * Providing decision-aid with a strong emphasis on growing analytics that identify trends and opportunities within the portfolio which can be used to optimize Business and Risk decisions **Required Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need: * Advanced experience working with a combination of the following: SQL/Hive, Power BI/Tableau, Python/R, VBA, TM1 * Experience working with a sophisticated level of Excel and PowerPoint required * Experience in ML modeling is a plus * Solid economic and analytical skills; ability to work with large datasets and draw significant conclusions, empowering our business partners to make smart, data-driven decisions * Superior attention to detail, alongside exemplary organizational and problem-solving skills * Must be results-driven and proactive with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work within tight timelines * Desire to work on ambiguous tasks, growing clarity while achieving successful and significant outcomes * A strong work-ethic and strong interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to build and maintain relationships and successfully collaborate with team members to achieve goals * Master's degree in advanced mathematics or statistical discipline required **Considerations for Sponsorship** Depending on factors including business unit requirements, the nature of the position, value, and relevant laws, blithequark may offer visa sponsorship for certain positions. **Compensation and Benefits** The anticipated salary range for this position is $55.00 to $85.00 hourly + bonus + equity (if relevant) + benefits.
