As a Data Analyst at blithequark, you will play a critical role in applying advanced analysis techniques to drive business decisions, enhance our content portfolio, and inform our marketing and delivery strategies. Key Responsibilities Apply advanced analysis methods (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, machine learning) on large-scale, high-dimensional data to drive business decisions Analyze client behavior (e.g., type preferences, viewing patterns) to identify unmet client needs and untapped content opportunities Predict content engagement to inform acquisition decisions Optimize our content launch and episode release strategy Test marketing strategies to improve engagement and retention Develop and implement new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both tactical and strategic guidance Provide ad-hoc analysis support to stakeholders to help drive the business forward Effectively communicate significant results through compelling data storytelling across the organization Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field At least 3 years of Data Analysis experience Proficiency in SQL and experience with R or Python Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning techniques: decision trees, regression, classification, etc. Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity in solving complex problems Excellent data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree in Data Science, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field A passion for Media and Entertainment Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
