As a Consumer Insight Intern, you'll be part of the Consumer Insight group within the Worldwide Marketing and Sales Association, which plays a critical role in driving business decisions with integrated, objective, and actionable insights.Day in the LifeAs a Consumer Insight Intern, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer experiences. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:* Conducting qualitative and quantitative customer research to inform business decisions* Analyzing data and presenting findings to internal stakeholders* Developing and implementing research studies to gather insights on consumer behavior* Collaborating with subject matter experts to design and execute research projects* Communicating research findings and recommendations to internal partners* Contributing to the development of business strategies and recommendations based on research insightsWhat We're Looking ForTo succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a unique combination of skills and qualities, including:*Critical thinking and analytical skills: You'll need to be able to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights to inform business decisions.*Research expertise: You should have experience with SPSS or a similar statistical software package, as well as a solid understanding of research methodologies and design.*Communication skills: You'll need to be able to effectively communicate research findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.*Collaboration and teamwork: You'll be working closely with cross-functional teams, so you should be able to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with others.*Inquisitive nature and enthusiasm for learning: You should be curious and passionate about understanding consumer behavior and driving business growth.Preferred QualificationsWhile not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:* Experience with SurveyMonkey or a similar survey software package* Past research experience, including survey design and data analysis* Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI* Strong understanding of marketing principles and consumer behaviorEducationRequirementsTo be eligible for this internship, you must be a current student or recent graduate (within the past six months) pursuing a four-year degree in Marketing, Finance, Human Sciences, Psychology, Statistics, Business, or a related field.Additional RequirementsTo be considered for this internship, you must:* Be at least 18 years old* Not have completed one year of continuous work on a Disney internship or program* Have unlimited work authorization* Be willing to adhere to The Disney Look appearance guidelines* Have a reliable, stable plan for working throughout the internship* Have solid transportation to/from workProgram Length and BenefitsThe internship is expected to run from January 2024 to June 2024.
