They are seeking a data enthusiast for the Equity Client Relationship Management team to analyze datasets and support client relationships in the financial markets. Responsibilities Analyze extensive, intricate datasets pertaining to trading activity, order flow, and market data utilizing Python and SQL Generate lucid and compelling data visualizations, reports, and presentations to disseminate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Continuously pursue knowledge and remain abreast of market trends, academic research, and novel analytical techniques Maintain accurate and current client records within the CRM system Support the execution of sales and relationship management programs and business plan activities Assist in the development and delivery of external, data-driven sales presentations and targeted communications to support business development initiatives Support TMX participation in sponsored and hosted events as required Assist in managing internal relationships and coordinating activities with business development personnel across other lines of business Skills Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science Canadian equity capital markets experience and strong knowledge of Canadian Equity trading market structure Proficient in data analysis and financial modelling with experience using Python for data analytics, particularly with libraries such as pandas, Numpy and Matplotib/Seaborn Exceptional Communication skills (both written and verbal), with the capacity to distill complex quantitative concepts into clear, actionable insights Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities A demonstrable knowledge of equity market structure, encompassing concepts such as order types, liquidity, algorithmic trading and market fragmentation Benefits Generous time-off and leaves Company Overview TMX Group is a corporation that manages many marketplaces to offer investment options to its clients.
