Database Architect Remote / Telecommute Jobs
Zachary Piper Solutions is seek a Database Architect to design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient database solutions to meet client needs and business objectives. This is a fully remote position and candidate must have an IRS/MBI Public Trust. Responsibilities: • Translate business requirements into robust database designs. • Optimize performance, reliability, and security of database systems. • Define standards and best practices for database architecture. • Lead performance tuning and optimization efforts. • Develop data models, schemas, and dictionaries. • Implement security measures (access controls, encryption, masking). • Mentor junior database staff and stay current with emerging technologies. Requirements: • 7+ years in database architecture/design/administration. • Expertise in RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra). • Strong knowledge of security best practices and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA). • Experience with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL). • Relevant certifications preferred. Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field. Clearance: US Citizen; Active Public Trust/MBI or ability to obtain.
