Data Analyst (remote) - Strategic Staffing Solutions - Bolingbrook, IL - work from home job Company: Strategic Staffing Solutions Job description: Junior Data Analyst (remote) • *** W2 ONLY- NO C2C **** Location: Bolingbrook, IL (REMOTE) Contract: 4 Months + / temp to hire Pay rate: $25/hr POSITION SUMMARY: In this role, you will utilize data manipulation and data mining capabilities to support the analysis and reporting needs for retail media network, UB Media. We are looking for a data Analyst who’ll research and identify ways to build reporting and measurement solution for the team. The responsibilities include tracking advertising costs, researching consumer behavior and exploring market trends and opportunities. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with marketing campaigns and be comfortable with processing and analyzing marketing data. Ultimately, you will help us ensure our working way across all UBM marketing channels, platforms, and agencies. YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH ALL OF THIS BY: • Own the development and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions • Establish data models within our data warehouse to standardize metrics across ad products to create unified reporting for each individual brand partner • Ensure data integrity by leveraging proven methodologies, including data reconciliation, data integration and data audits. • Standardization and consistency across all UBM platforms. THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS: • 3+ years of experience in analytics / quant role and reporting at a publisher, ad network, Retail Media Network or eCommerce / retail company • Experience working in digital marketing environment, e.g., with ad servers, web analytics, search bid management etc. • Strong knowledge of SQL, SAS, Python, R, statistics and proficiency in Excel • Understanding in data visualization tools a plus, e.g., Tableau / PowerbI • Understanding of relational databases, ETL, database structures a plus • Ability to work directly with external partners (Ad Agency and Tech vendors) to get access to data and get clarification / more granular information as needed • Comfortable working in fast-paced, growing environment, deal with ambiguity, and remain focused on execution.
