Key Responsibilities As a Data Analyst - Ad Tech - Remote, your primary responsibilities will include: Analyzing and interpreting complex data sets using a range of analysis and presentation tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform marketing performance optimization. Applying expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and presentation of data to drive business decisions and guide next steps. Designing and executing A/B testing and statistical analyses to extract actionable insights that influence, support, and assist in model development. Developing and presenting learnings from analyses, including actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders. Creating reports guided by a reporting framework and taking ownership of maintaining campaign reports. Conducting ad hoc analysis to support sales techniques, marketing strategies, and campaign optimization. Managing data systems to reliably handle high-volume transactions (30k-50k per second). Interfacing with developers, sales, and traffic teams to understand data needs and define data sets. Owning and maintaining the data infrastructure to ensure seamless data flow and analysis. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Essential Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in predictive modeling in a professional setting, using tools such as Python, R, or SQL. Experience with AWS data tools (Redshift, EMR, S3) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Aerospike). Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data to identify optimizations, gaps, and inconsistencies. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to identify and communicate data-driven insights. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in the Ad Tech industry or a related field. Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques. Experience with machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
