As a Consultant in IT Audit & Assurance, you will engage with clients to assess and address technology-related risks, execute audit plans, and ensure compliance with audit objectives. Responsibilities Develop and grow your skills through your work on client engagements – which include internal audits, risk assessments, technology audits (such as IT general controls) and third-party assurance (such as SOC 1 and SOC 2 audits) Meet with clients to discuss their business and technology processes and identify areas of risk Execute an audit plan that addresses those risks and ensures compliance with the audit objectives Conduct fieldwork, which may include interviewing staff, reviewing documentation, and testing controls Identify potential issues using analytical and problem-solving skills Communicate with your team and clients, providing updates on your progress and discussing any issues that arise Draft audit findings and discuss issues with management Skills Completed a post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field An inclusive team player who is passionate and motivated Excellent communicator and relationship builder Self-starter and able to conceptualize creative approaches and solutions Curious and comfortable with ambiguity Dedicated to providing meaningful service to our clients Working in our office and client locations Individuals with interest in controls, audit methodologies, business and IT operations, IT risk, analytics and data should apply These roles allow individuals to earn their CPA, CIA, or CISA designation requirements Benefits $4,000 per year for mental health support benefits $1,300 flexible benefit spending account Firm-wide closures known as 'Deloitte Days' Dedicated days of for learning (known as Development and Innovation Days) Flexible work arrangements Hybrid work structure Company Overview Deloitte is a business consulting company that offers audit, consulting, financial advisory, and tax services.
