More on the Group on our website Our projects At the Engineering Competence Center, we deliver services and projects for the Automotive, Rail, and Oil & Gas sectors. Our specialized engineering teams work within project and competency groups, whose activities we manage. We also conduct training and certification programs to enhance the engineering competencies of our consultants. Position We are currently looking for a candidate for the position of Computer Vision Engineer (he/she) for our client from the biotechnology industry. Additional information Work location: The office is based in Wrocław. Hybrid work is preferred, however remote work is also possible for the right candidate. Offered salary Salary: from 1 040 to 1 200 PLN net/day, depending on experience and competences. You’re ideal for this role if you: • Have 3+ years of experience in computer vision, image processing, data science, or a related field • Hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a quantitative field (PhD candidates or PhD-in-progress are highly welcome) • Possess in-depth knowledge of classical computer vision techniques (e.g. image registration, signal processing, morphological operations) • Have strong expertise in classical machine learning methods (e.g. clustering, anomaly detection, statistical models) • Demonstrate solid hands‑on experience with deep learning for image data (CNNs, Transformers, data augmentation) • Are proficient in Python and experienced with libraries such as PyTorch, JAX, Tensor Flow, Keras, OpenCV, or scikit‑image • Can clearly understand business problems and translate them into effective computer vision solutions (must‑have) • Have experience with large‑scale image data processing, annotation pipelines, and ETL workflows • Are familiar with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and tools such as Git and Azure Dev Ops • Are comfortable working in an international project environment with communicative English Nice to have: • Background in advanced academic research or strong theoretical foundations complementing hands‑on experience • Strong commercial experience with AI and computer vision solutions in production environments Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include: • Collecting, cleaning, and processing large‑scale image datasets. • Designing, developing, and optimizing classical and deep learning computer vision models for real‑world applications. • Taking end‑to‑end ownership of computer vision and data science projects within a global organization. • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver impactful solutions. • Communicating technical insights and results to support data‑driven business decisions Recruitment process Call with our Recruiter -> Call with our Business Manager -> Meeting with Client.
