We’re on the lookout for a Backend Developer for Games! You’ll be involved in developing and maintaining server-side logic and infrastructure, ensuring robust player data management and session management for a multiplayer game of our customers. What will you do? • Develop and maintain backend services and databases (e.g., AWS RDS, DynamoDB) • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with data protection regulations • Optimize server performance and integrate seamlessly with frontend services • Work closely with Cloud Architects and DevOps Engineers to ensure backend scalability and reliability • Implement and manage API gateway integration, OAuth, and other authentication mechanisms • Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues to maintain optimal server performance • Communicate the progress with our customers (Game Studios, VFX, Virtual Production) Must haves • Proficiency in server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, or .NET • Experience with database management and data storage solutions • Understanding of API gateway integration, OAuth, and other authentication mechanisms • Knowledge of data security, encryption techniques, and compliance requirements in a cloud environment • Great command of the English language both in verbal and written form Are you interested?
